Pennsauken Shooting Victim, 35, Dropped At Emergency Room Dies

A 35-year-old Pennsauken man died of gunshot wounds after he was dropped off outside a Camden County emergency room on Wednesday Dec. 27, authorities said.

Esterlin Torres was identified as the victim shot on the 1400 block of Louis Street just after 6:05 p.m., Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said. 

Police responded to the area on a ShotSpotter activation and, a short time later, Torres was brought outside the emergency room entrance of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with an apparent gunshot wound, MacAulay and Rodriguez said.

Torres was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:39 p.m., MacAulay and Rodriguez said.
